Wonderful Smells…

Some popular ways to fill a treatment space with your chosen aroma include plug-ins, air fresheners and candles.  However, there are other ways to introduce your chosen aroma to the treatment space which are natural and and be inexpensive.

Reed diffusers can be expensive but they’re easy to make. All you need is :

A small glass bottle, essential oil, reed sticks, vodka, water.  Just fill the bottle with water, add a few tablespoons of vodka and an essential oil of your choice (12 drops per 1/4 cup of water) then mix together.  Place four or five reeds into the solution to soak.  Then reverse the reeds and soak the other ends – the scent should now diffuse into the room.  You should rotate the reeds once a week for best results.

If you have any other ideas for filling your treatment space with aromas, please let us know and we’ll post them here to help others customise their Total Sense Therapy sessions.

We’ve found a company who supply machines that can emit a range of smells into your treatment space.  It’s probably more suited to a business offering TST to walk-in clients but they also sell to domestic customers.  They look expensive however and you’ll need to make direct enquiries with them regarding your needs.
